Yo yo yo! Marienhaab invites you to Backyard Boogie in their patio Friday September 1st from 3-8pm. As part of the celebrations of hip hop turning 50 we are throwing this event to honor hip hop, rap and DJ'ing. Tanajah (US) will give a fantastic performance demonstrating her lyrical skills and DJ Freequincee will provide buzzing hip hop summer tunes. Tanajah (US) is active with her new EP "What If Dreams Came True" which she is releasing on the Danish record label Blikflak September 8th 2023. As an exclusive experience Tanajah will perform the singles from her new EP "What If Dreams Came True" as a pre-premiere to her official release party at Headquarters in Århus September 9th 2023. Since 2021 Tanajah has visited Denmark and has performed at SPOT Festival with the Aalborg-based band Ahead among other venues. She has toured Denmark with Ahead and Jaden Castro and is ready for enriching Denmark with her musicality, invigorating joy and thought provoking messages once again this year. Tanajah is a sharp and versatile rapper and has most recently been part of creating A Crocs Ball with her latest sponsor Crocs. As part of the collaboration Tanajah has launched her own official Crocs Charm, and will give away free Tanajah Crocs Charms to the first 20 guests according to the first come first served principle. In August 2023 Tanajah has won the RapKingz competition at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen as the first woman rapper in HERstory! Also in 2023 and in collaboration with Know The Ledge podcast Tanajah has appeared as warm-up act for Pede B and DJ Noize at a sold out concert in Randers at Café von Hatten with DJ Freequincee as her DJ. DJ Freequincee aka Cornelia Hersland is new on the DJ scene but old in the hip hop world. This is reflected in the funky freequencies being aired at the event. So hop in your hip hop gear and get down at Marienhaab to a heart warming open air concert where everyone is welcome! We have beers, sodas, wine and drinks in the bar and and a warm meal for 40 kr.
